SPELD SA maintains a register of qualified specialist tutors who provide individual tutoring for children and adults across South Australia.

Looking for a Specialist Tutor?

Our Tutors are trained in evidence-based teaching approaches designed to improve students’ literacy and numeracy skills and must attend ongoing Professional Learning to remain listed on our tutor register.

They have a minimum of two years’ classroom experience or are an allied health professional with at least two years’ experience supporting students with literacy and/or numeracy acquisition.

They have received specialist training through SPELD SA in the teaching of children and adults with specific learning difficulties.

SPELD SA is a not-for-profit organisation providing advice and services to children and adults with specific learning difficulties and those who care for, teach, and work with them.

For over 50 years we have been delivering a range of services to the community including educational training, parent workshops, educational consultations, psychological assessments, tutoring, literacy intervention programs and extensive resources through our library and bookshop.
