SPELD SA is always looking at ways we can work with our community to support the needs of people who live with specific learning difficulties. Here are some of the wonderful organisations who have been working with SPELD SA over the past couple of years.

SPELD SA recognises the continued support by the Department for Education through the provision of an annual operational grant.

This generous funding allows us to deliver free regional workshops for parents, maintain our specialist library and provide ongoing support to people with learning difficulties, their families and carers.

The ICPA in South Australia in collaboration with the 2020 Indulkaninna Foundation Bursaries, are working with SPELD SA to provide opportunities to students in the remote outback who don't have access to face to face teachers.

The Australian Executor Trustee SME Stabilisation Fund has provided funding to our organisation for the purpose of building a bespoke administrative system in the back end and a modern contemporary website for our users. We are grateful for this opportunity to modernise our processes.

In 2020 SPELD SA received a grant from the Thyne Reid Foundation to support the establishment of an in-house high quality Jolly Learning workshop program aimed at up-skilling educators across South Australia.

Claro Software provide the Claro Website Reader, a reading toolbar that is available on every page of our website enabling it to read out any text on the page using good-quality synthesised speech. A great initiative for anyone with reading problems such as Dyslexia.

Scanning Pens provide an annual donation to SPELD SA to support the work we do helping people who have specific learning difficulties such as dyslexia.

"Thank you to all our partners, supporters and our community for the generous support, of which without we couldn't continue to help more people with a learning difficulty"
