The letter sound board is A4 in size and is laminated for strength.

Graphemes representing the 42 letter sounds of the Jolly Phonics programme are printed on the board. They are organised in groups of vowels, consonants and digraphs.

Small, rectangular wooden tiles with the letter sounds on them are attached to the letter sound board with Velcro. Each tile sits on top of the matching letter/s printed on the board. The tiles are easy to detach for use in blending and segmenting activities.

The letter sound board with attached tiles is stored in a clear, plastic document wallet for protection and easy transport.
