Phonological awareness, a crucial precursor to reading, requires explicit teaching, daily exposure, and practice. This workshop examines phonological awareness and its underlying relationship to and importance in the development of literacy.
Through interactive activities, attendees will explore phonological patterns (such as onset rime, rhyme, syllabification, etc) and examine a range of motivating learning games and tasks.
