Premier's Reading Challenge

The Premier's Reading Challenge was introduced by the Premier in 2004.

The Challenge will:

Encourage students to read more books
Students will learn the enjoyment of reading
Improve literacy levels

The Challenge is an inclusive activity where participating students are required to read 12 books appropriate to their literacy levels between the start of the year and early September.

SPELD SA encourages all students to challenge themselves and participate in the Premier's Reading Challenge.

The SPELD SA website has a number of resources available to help choose readers suitable for students at all literacy levels
